Think of it like your classic frozen berley block — but shelf-stable, easier to store, and made from real fish, not fillers. These salted berley logs are made with 70% New Zealand fish (blue mackerel and barracouta), ground and pressed into solid logs with just enough grain binder to hold their shape.
Designed for fishers who want something reliable on board, without the drama of melting bait or freezer space. Use them whole or break off chunks — either way, they get the job done.
Load straight into your berley pot or net and drop it over the side. The salt helps the log hold its form while slowly releasing scent in the water. Great for snapper, kahawai, gurnard and other bottom feeders. Best used when you’re setting up for a longer session or want to keep the trail going without constant top-ups.
Made with New Zealand blue mackerel, barracouta, and grain binder.

Hoey Works well. To keep a consistent trail going you do have to keep shaking your burley pot. But they are value for money as they last for hours. If you break up the burley into big chunks after soaking for an hour or so it will flow naturally. Will be buying more in the future..
